It started with one fence. Cuatro Strack was building fence in South Texas before he was old enough to drive. He came up in a family that worked the land, set posts, hung wire, and stood behind every job. By 1994 he was building fence for ranchers as a teenager. By 2004 the work was steady enough to put a name on it. J4 Fencing & Services, LLC was formally organized that year.
One company became a family of companies. Fence led to water. Water led to land. Land led to manufactured homes, real estate, and a working ranch. Today the J4 Ecosystem covers fence, water wells, septic systems, brokerage, prefab homes, and rental property. Different companies, one family, one set of standards.
Why four divisions, not one. Most fence companies pick a lane. We build all four because the same crew that hangs an 8-foot net wire perimeter at a solar farm also knows how to drive a bulkhead into the Gulf Coast and how to set a high-fence corner that holds a herd of fallow deer for thirty years. Different skills. Same standard. That standard was set in the late 1990s by a fifteen-year-old setting posts for his dad, and it has not changed.
Where we are now. Headquartered in El Campo, Texas. Four divisions: Commercial / Security / Government, Coastal Construction, Ranch & Ag, and Residential. Seven home counties. The Texas Gulf Coast from Sargent to Corpus Christi. Statewide Texas. Nationwide for qualified ranch and government work. Crews who live where the work is. Owners on the jobsite when it matters.
